Discover The Benefits Of Drinking Bone Broth For Your Health

Drinking bone broth several times a week is a fantastic way to build better gut health. It is loaded with glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and glucosamine. The broth is excellent for joint health. When you consume the super tasty food, you also get chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid which is excellent for stimulating cells called fibroblasts which lay down collagen in the joints, tendons, ligaments, and even the arteries.
Bone broth is also awesome for hair, skin and nails because of the collagen. It heals the gut because of the gelatin.

The wall of the gut is permeable to allow nutrients in, but it can become too permeable due to processed foods, rancid grains, stress, anti-biotics, medication etc. Then undigested food slips through and gets into your bloodstream! Its almost like shit getting into your viens! And you dont want to be full of shit right! The body gets so confused by this and starts to think your organs are protein and it starts to attack itself. This causes an auto-immune response. The main cause being leaky gut.

Staying healthy over the winter months or ALL year round!

Using what I have learnt during my juice journey, I will share with you some tips.

Asthma and Allergies – is there are natural cure?

By Trish Tucker-May, Founder of Passion 4 Juice

Asthma and allergies are indicators that the body has resorted to an increase in production of histamine. This is the sensor for the metabolism of water and its distribution within the body. According to Dr F Batmanghelidj in his wonderful book “Your Body’s Many Cries For Water”, when the body is adequately hydrated histamine activity will remain unexaggerated. When the body is dehydrated, histamine activity becomes exaggerated for water regulation and this has a knock on effect for the immune system and lung function. I wish I had read this book while I was growing up. Anyone with allergies and asthma in the family should get a copy of this book.

Asthma medication was a big part of my life. I could not go out without my puffers and if I did I would freak out. From birth I had bronchial problems. Puffers, anti-histamines and carrying round an Epipen full of adrenalin were just part of my life dependant on drugs to control my allergies. At 14 I started juicing. I began with combinations like carrot and apple, gradually progressing to more extraordinary and unusual taste sensations. Now I love anything with ginger and a chunk of turmeric.
